WELCOME TO MUSIC TOOTER
This is a website that is often changing as I add seasonal offerings, or things that I find on the internet. I create a number of
resources and worksheets and usually offer them on the site when I give them tomy students.
I sometimes use the site for emergency lesson plans. Check out Mrs Traquair's Virtual Band Room . It takes about 40 minutes to get through all the
How it is Made videos and depending on the discussion or the pauses you choose to make, I have easily filled in a one hour time slot.
Just for Fun is a page with good links to excellent websites, templates for a note naming game and directions for a traditional dice- music conversion game. It also has a tone sequencing game (in the old Simon format) and other interesting activities that be used as a class or for individuals.
The Links to individual Instrument Pages highlights the individual band instruments. I scan the web and take suggestions from others about the best demonstrations of the instruments for this page.
If you find this site useful, please pass it on; if not, please help me make it better!
STUCK FOR A LESSON TODAY? TRY THIS LINK-SELF DIRECTED GROUP LEARNING .
IT WILL PROMOTE PEER TEACHING, GROUP COOPERATION AND CAN BE USED FOR TEAM ASSESSMENT.
ENJOY!
